Really Whats wrong with Madden 360

IMO the number one problem with Madden is atmosphere, there is none.
The game feels very very boring. I know there are many complaints about
game play aspects but I can live with those if the game had any excitement
at all. NCAA had its problems also but the incredible atmosphere is what keeps
me playing. EA needs to really add some excitement to Madden. It is so so
boring. I've made it to my second season and more times than not found
myself 'happy' when a game was over because I was so bored.
This has nothing to do with game play aspects as I enjoyed Blitz The League which is
total BS when it comes to game play but was very EXCITING. EA really needs to
spice up the game...

The main problem in my opinion is the simmed stats. It's as if EA hired programmers who had never watched a game of football before. Sorry EA but when Jake Plummer is leading the league in rushing after week 2, something is wrong. It's like making a baseball game where lefties can't hit home runs... oh wait.

The problem with madden is there are many problems and many missing features.

too stripped down, sometimes controlling a player it is not smoothe at all, and no atmosphere. I actually like it head-to-head with friends but I can't go even 3 games into a Franchise because of these features... and the offseason isn't very good either.... but head-to-head is fun

I think that there is a lot more atmosphere in Madden 360 than any version of Madden in years. Finally the crowds show some enthusiasm and make some noise!

The main problems with the game are:

* Removed features - mainly the ability to have a play reviewed
* Tuck rule problem where forward passes when the QB is hit are ruled fumbles
* Even with sliders adjusted, AI field goals are never wide left or right.
* Short passes near the sidelines usually result with momentum carrying the player out of bounds for a loss.
* Game seems to easy unless you bump up the difficulty to All Madden
* Stats are problematic

But I think the new engine is solid and plays a pretty good game of football. Games have a good flow to them and you can no longer just fade back 10 steps and bomb down the field and expect to win.

-I second shotty player control and odd movements
-Momentum is like it was in Madden 02 or 03 where your guys overun evrything and when you try to make a move you do a circle around move and sideline routes and passes you might as well not evn throw
-maybe a picky gripe but when the QBs take off to run with the ball they all hunched over like trolls and it justs looks real bad especially for 360 and just takes realism away its such a bad running animation
-other than that just throw the old stuff back in and hopefully fill up the sidelines and have a lot more player post play reaction and emotion to give the game life for once and with ESPN the overlays should be nice as well as out of game menus also
