Finally picked up Madden 360 - what should I do first?

Hey everybody- I've been reading along in the various Madden forums here, and I've finally picked up (or rather, recieved in the mail) Madden 360. Background- I'm an old NFL2k guy who converted to NCAA/Madden out of necessity the past year, so I'm prepared to give this game every chance to win me over. Additionally, I've never been an All-Madden guy, instead opting for All-Pro and relishing those few games that become competitive here and there.

So, from what I've read here, I should grab the new online rosters, then up my skills to the All-Madden level so I can use the most recent slider set. Correct? Any other suggestions for settings to enable/disable? Can I import my own music as the background stadium songs? Where should I save my default rosters, audibles, etc... so I won't have to set them every game?

I'll mostly be playing franchise, and I'm looking forward to it... I don't want to have to switch to basketball till '07.

What should you do first? Bring it back as soon as u can and get DOA 4 instead.....LOL J/P Nah seriously, i would run a couple of franchises on All-Pro w/ your favorite team then play online.

Yeah, I've been having a great time with Call of Duty 2 and DoA4... well, that's not entirely true- DoA4 is so unfairly difficult at times I've considered launching my wireless controller into the next county. I'm a die-hard football game fan, though- I bought the Dreamcast for NFL2k and never regretted that purchase for a second. As long as Madden doesn't make me dislike the sport, I'll be able to find some fun in it. If not.. there's always Ebay.

Alright, look. We already had someone with the wise crack. We didn't need Tweedle Dee here with the second one. Do it again and you'll be taking a break from the forums here at OS.

The first thing to do is to get the updated roster and start a 'chise. I'm having a lot of fun and right now, I am 5-2 with the Jags. Playing online is also a blast. I have been pretty fortunate online b/c I haven't faced any cheesers in my first 10 games. Though I am sure that is going to change. I seem to be in close games every time and I think sliders are really helping.

wow, what is happening to this forum? Seriously, was the post really that bad to warrant the threats? And why don't the rules of personal attacks apply to you? I'm getting the impression that there is a little too much power tripping going on in here, I suppose I'll be banned for this post.

Honestly, yeah. I don't doubt the guy had already seen the same comment already posted above so why the need to re-iterate the joke? Seeing the same thing happen over and over again, day after day would get pretty old fast to any of us.

Bottom line is just show some forum etiquette and we aren't having this conversation...
