Incredibly stupid in my opinion...in light of ALL the many problems with Madden they've managed to find the one least important thing to focus on..what losers...ok..looks like we are in for another disappointment...yo..I can almost here it now..."Madden 08 will be promising"

Re: New Madden Info!....

Luckily they didn't have Tiburon worry about their resources.

But way to read.

Re: New Madden Info!....

I got excited at first. Then, I'm like...what was I thinking. How can you play a whole franchise like this or even online. I'd love to try this out and play around with it for 15 minutes. But, I'd never put hundreds of dollars down on a Revolution (I refused to say or write Wii) just to play a graphically inferior version of Madden with that "unique" controller. Other games will undoubtedly work with this thing, but Madden with that controller will be awkward at best.

Re: New Madden Info!....

Is it just me, or is this particular implementation of the controller "change for change's sake"?

Innovation isn't just changing the gaming experience. It's changing and enhancing the experience.

I hope this is better than it sounds, because right now it sounds a lot like ESPN's First Person Football ... kinda cool at first for a change of pace, but is it really better? Does it really give us a better playing experience?

Interesting question though ... which is more immersive, a gaming platform that "puts you in the game" by giving you physical control like the Revolution (Wii??), or a gaming platform that "puts you in the game" by giving you a detailed world that's full of life?

I don't think there's an easy answer to that question, but for football, my initial impression is probably the Xbox360/PS3 way. I reserve the right to change my mind, though, and I feel that for certain games or game types the Revolution has real potential.
