That hit stick idea is awesome. It drove me insane when magazines were describing the hit stick, basically a "hit hard" button, as one of the best football video game innovations ever, when ESPN had the exact same thing (tap X) plus about 90 new things in 2K5, but all of the latter got zero attention...

Ive seen situation where it looked like 3 or 4, but it was actually 2 making a tackle.

I like using the right stick but I don't like it as hit stick. I'm not a fan of the hit stick. I was the first 10 games I played with it but after that, I'm not a fan of it. I think it makes tackling too simplistic and does not present it as the "ART/Skill" that it is.

It all depends if youre playing the CPU or a human opponent. Against a human opponent, if you miss with the 'hitstick', say bye-bye and hello to 10+ extra yards.

Against the CPU, yeah it can get quite easy, sometimes.
