I have a new HP Pavillion laptop with a wide screen. How can I tell what, if any, video card is installed in it?

what is a good setup to get the game running smoothly? What video card, memory, cpu speed, etc... Not just the minimum, but a good solid setup...

I have Madden for PC, Xbox and PS2. If I had to keep one, it would be the PC. If the PC sold more you would see more development into it and in my opinion could easily look as good as xbox 360...

Madden runs smooth as silk on my Dell XPS 3.4ghz 2gig ram and Geforce 6800, using logitech rumblepad 2. All graphics on high, absolutely no framerate problems.

Does anyone have any video footage of madden 2007 for the pc?

1) Buy an XBox 360
2) Buy an HDTV Plasma/LCD screen
3) Buy a HDTV ready DirecTV box

Go ahead an justify. Wait til' you get to be my age with wife and children. The PC rocks. The Graphics cards that are comming out are sick and do not require a $500.00 investment. Do you realize how much the above three items woudl cost?

My six year old son can have my XBOX. I OWN my PC. out.
Just wait 1 or 2 years when u will have to buy a better video card, CPU etc to get the game run over 30Fps.

Trust me, i was there... it has a lot of positive, but saving $$ isnīt one of them

Actually, Madden PC has been hardly touched visually for years by EA, so the same PC can basically run it year in and out. If/when they port the next engine to the PC, initially you'd probably need a top end PC (like Madden 2001 and 2002 PC), but hances are you won't have to upgrade much in the future because EA don't go out of their way to enhance their games for the PC. Although you'd probably upgrade for other PC orientated games though.
