Isn't This Gang Tackling (Pic Inside of Madden on 360)

I was over in another board, and member KBLPresident had a Dolphins franchise going with photos. I was looking through it just now, and saw this interesting picture.



This is from Madden 2006 on the 360. Now, I never played that game--just the demo at Best Buy. But...how often--if at all--do you see this? Do you see two guys take down a ball carrier...or in this pic, will one guy simply end up tackling the ball-carrier although two players make contact...?

I'd be willing to bet the guy on the right isn't taking down the ball carrier. I'd bet he is about to fly through the ball carrier as if he is a ghost Notice how the shoulder pad is IN the helmet. And as far as how much that happens. Alot

I think, unfortunately, that only the guy on the left is making the tackle. The guy on the right is standing near/bouncing off/teleporting through the ballcarrier.

Thats the same corny *** 2 man tackle found on current gen...Nothing special.

What we want is 3-4 man gang tackles. S*** all we really want is a defender come and add on to the momentum of the ball carreier going backwards.

Collision detection is all... next few frames the player will be blown away and crumple to the ground with the same lame animation... had me for a sec though hehe
