THE NEW MADDEN DEMO...

Yeah, I thought he was talking XBL as well. And Madden did infact put out an XBox demo in OXM before the release btw.

I played it and the "PS3" version at E3. I tried to spend more time on new features, but I still saw some of the same things that pissed me off about the 360 Madden. I'll say this - 360 Madden is an indictment on the PS3 moreso than the game itself. I won't bs - Madden 360 sux. Old gen Madden is good. Next gen Madden is a total f-up and it's STILL f'ed up. For me, while I didn't care for Madden 360, there was a lot of nice touches there and I'm really looking forward to Madden 07 on the 360. Some fixes here and there and the game will be solid. The version you played isn't a complete build, especially on the PS3 side. They said they were at around 30% on the build.

I know. I just look at it from a developement standpoint in that for as along as EA has been known to have the PS3 dev kits, that game should have been much further along. That's why I said it's an indictment of the PS3 moreso than Madden next gen. As far as the game itself go, I'll agree to disagree. I don't like the design decisions made on the game from many many angles. Presentation, play calling, animations, interface all took design steps backward in my opinion. It's to a point where I don't feel confident that they have the people vision needed to improve the game. But, we'll just have to wait and see. It's pretty bad when EA employees echo that exact same sentiment...
