I saw something about the NCAA game that I hope is in Madden. He said that fans actually react to whats going on. He showed a player making an interception, and the fans for that team going crazy. The fans for the offense are sitting on their hands, upset.

He also said lighting will come into play, and how the game will turn from daytime to nighttime (depending on what time you play).

Huh? This is more or less the same video that's already been released with a smattering of 40yd dash mini game added in. E3 has come and passed, NCAA releases in a little more than a month and Madden releases in a little more than two months and we STILL don't have decent gameplay video. Handycam video or video taken w/someone's phone at E3 shouldn't be the primary source of information lol

two questions though...

1) why does NCAA look like the FAR FAR FAR deeper title in terms of actual depth, and most importantly improving the actual atmosphere of the gameplay?

Madden adds degradable turf (which is actually not new at all)... NCAA adds a virtual "living crowd" in which specific sections and types of fans respond differently. I'm really more sold on NCAA this year fellas.

2) WHERE ARE THE VIDEOS????!!!! Last year, when there was (*cough) competition, we had video comming out of the woodwork. We were virtually overran on a weekly basis with video. In fact fridays were days in which we would get new video and features. now we got to get smuggled handycam clips.

We'll just have to wait, I think NCAA and Madden will both have there own strong and weak points.

it was actually 2 years ago when there was competition.
