Potentially. They just did that with NCAA 07 360 with the "hey, the next gen version will now have all the new plays too" announcement.

I'm still going with the EPSN presentation. But i really didn't think of it as a hardware gimmick. If this can't be done on the xbox and ps2 then it has to be bigger then just the presentation right?

My second guess would probably be some type of gang tackling. Alot of you might think i'm crazy but i'm thinking something to actually do with the players. The presentation could of easily be done on the current gen, theres no reason to olny limit this feature to just the next gen if its as simple as olny a presentation

It may not exactly be gang tackling but i'm pretty sure it has to do with a gameplay fearture. They annouced the run for daylight feature, So my second guess is the "stop the daylight feature." Some counter measurment to stop the blocking person maybe............................................. .......................................

Provided that EA let them design the game, and then forced the VC people to leave the country while EA's quality assurance people made sure the game actually functioned as intended (which would be a first for a VC football title), I'm ok with this.

This is silly on IGN's/Jon Robinson's part - I can't remember one time where their hype lived up to billing. And who's to say it's not EA operating his marionette strings - geez. Now we have to deal with a week of people crossing fingers that EA actually cares about it's consumers, and possibly disappointed. Just when people got used to setting their expectations low too. Bummer
