Similarity between madden 07 cover and gameday 01 cover

I love the little things that people will notice or talk about as they await more information on the game or for the game to come out.

And I must admit, I find that Faulk and Alexander having the exact same pose is very interesting.

If a WR and a RB were in the same position, I could see why these may deserve a laugh but...this is just...yeah.

they don't look that similar to me. alexander looks likes he's going to run over somoene and faulk looks like he's trying to just hold his balance.

After looking at both photos very, very close I can finally see the subtle differences -Faulk with a breathe-right strip and no mouth guard while in the Alexander photo - he DOES have a mouthguard and does NOT wear a breathe right strip......not to mention that Alexander is wearing a wristband on his right arm and Faulk is not....other than those minor differences and the fact that the uniforms are from different teams I notice a TON of similarities..... hmmmmm? I wonder if it is a conspiracy of some sort?

COME ON!!!! They are running backs and they are running!!! should Alexander be throwing a chop block instead?!

It doesn't matter if the pose is similar. The only thing that matters is that hopefully EA improves the gameplay of Madden 07 and that they add all those game modes they didn't add in 06.

This connection is one that is well caught and points to a larger, more vast underpinnings and devious dealings between game companies. Are we missing an even more dubious & sinister connection here, the general public, whereas a few of the highly tuned individuals are able to see beyond whereas others see nothing? Is Madden 2007 really Gameday 2001 repacked with updated rosters? The truth is out there...
