I think with this exclusive deal and these next gen systems our imaginations get to us. 2K fans just wonder what NFL2Kx would be like with all the power. We assume 2K would work on the issues in the game and we just let our imaginations run wild and it definatly comes out in posts on this forum. Its harmless until it turns into Madden bashing. Noone knows what it would be like. Either way 2K would still have issues that people would complain about because no game would be perfect. Its just if the Madden team worked a little harder on next gen it would be less bashing.

Now that, I agree with 100%

thats the problem with the launch of a new console. The samething happened when the PS2 first came out. Madden was horrible for it. It was just updated graphics and dumbed down gameplay. And then the second year was EA's first real attempt at the gameplay aspect of Madden on the PS2 and it wasn't anything spectacular. After awhile they got the hang of it and we started seeing things we liked.

Now the same thing is happening on the 360. I think that Madden 2008 will be the first "breakout" version of Madden on the 360 where people start saying ok, this is getting to where I want it to be.

The only thing is this, no matter what EA adds to Madden, there will always be something else that we as gamers want or something within it that we want fixed because we don't think it is correct.
