They could have kept the "run to daylight" crap out for all I care. Im happy about the fact they made the career mode more authentic though. You make yourself a WR and thats who you are, you are not the coach, the QB, the RB, other WR's or anyone on the defesne. So no more of this running 95% passing plays and passing the ball to yourself every play.

blocker control sounds cool.. But if the Madden engine where the Defense just gets faster as you get further down field it wont matter to me. I just hope they put some more lead on the precision passing I do not like just picking a shoulder to throw to..

Thing is...we don't have to choose him everyplay..its an option to us.

I think EA is going in the right direction with letting the user choose more positions to play with. It will be strategy in this also.

Just think if you pick a counter right play and you have the left lineman. Now say you don't pull to the right while the play is developing, the play will get blown up because you didn't pull to the right.

Hopefully the risk factor will go like that. If EA incorpartes that you have to follow the design of the play or else than this will be a good idea. If you can move your blocker any where and still get 7 yards a pop this will be a bad idea.

We will see...

I thought that after you made your block you could then take control of the running back. If this is the case then I'm all for it.

That is how it works.

Ditto. I don't play on All-Madden because my running game is HORRIBLE at that level. If this helps me out, I'm all for it.

It would have been nice if EA would have improved the oline/full back blocking AI.

They did say they worked on Oline Blocking in addition to adding Run to Daylight. What that means I dunno.
