Ncaa is going to have it, alternate jerseys.....wonder if madden will take the same rout. I can see it now, downloadable espn presentation upgrades on marketplace....

If alternate jerseys do end up for sale on NCAA you can bet it'll be that way in Madden too. As has been noted though, no one officially has certified any of that is true.

I could very well see this happening,as stated by Odogg..if Ncaa is going to go this route,then Madden probably will too.
But......I don't agree with this....why should I have to pay extra for something that was in the game before for free (alt jerseys,etc..).I'm sure some will say "well it's only 50,80,or100points" (whatever it turns out to be) but I'm not going to pay extra for alt. jerseys that came with the game already earlier.
Oh wait....I don't have anything to worry about, Madden didn't have any alt jersey's for the Steelers.

they wouldn't because those are required to play online.

nah, there's a huge difference between alternate jerseys and updated rosters. you can play and enjoy the game just fine without alternate jerseys but to play it online you are required to download the latest rosters. EA wouldn't charge for something that you're required to have to simply play.

If they went that far, I'm sure there'd be x-number of people jumping out to defend them on that also. But I don't see much of a difference between jerseys and rosters - probably would make even more money from rosters. And why couldn't they just have the rosters available while you're online? Could just remove the option to save them to your memory card/hard drive I would think
