Anyone miss the old commentary?

If Madden/Michaels is the answer, you're asking the wrong question.

Plain and simply, NEITHER is acceptable, as the M/M team lacks any emotion/atmosphere/realism, while the radio guy was a turn for the worse, which I didn't think was possible.

I tell you what I think. Madden 07 doesn't look to have much presentation in the first place. I would take generic announcers over that radio announcer anyday. Ea's excuse was that with the RA you can hear more on field chatter. I don't know but to me with almost every football game that had normal announcers I still heard on field chatter. At least with a generic announcer with no presentation it will help for the most part. There is no excuse for only having a RA in next gen. And if the Ra is in it should be a option to turn the announcer and color commentary announcer off and turn the RA on if you want to change it up

No no no no and um, no. The repetitive commentary got old in say, 1998, so no, 8 years later of 90% of the SAME crap HECK no I don't miss it. Good ridence.

Good grief!!! I've only listened to this two parrots for 3 years and it feels like what they say never change. I am tired of hearing "BOOOMM" (sometimes I wish it was his tail that explode). I don't hate Madden don't get me wrong, but one more word from him and I'll be hysterical.
