lol yeah don't think Madden will be reaching Sports GOTY status. It's pretty, that's certain. And it's nice to not dread the game's impending release. But those flag football like-/flash tackles will get old if they occur with any frequency. Outside of the coaches, who they seem to have given a ton of attention, the rest of the sidelines look like pure putrid crap. Not feeling the on the field camera cutaways (most of them) or the jumbotron cutaways (none of them). Will suck if in-game replays are the same as NCAA. Really nice reflections in the visors and helmets. Can only hope they've borrowed some of NCAA's open field running animations for some players - doesn't look like it though. Looks really smooth in video, so should be even smoother looking at it live

what flash tackles... please stop thinking that the noise in the videos in gametrailers are part of the game... that is done by the website to emphasize a play... this game looks awsome and i dont judge a game of the year like you seem to... by the sidelines or jumbotrons... gameplay and graphics make a game... and madden has that plus great features...

you my friend need to learn how to watch a video and know what is part of the game and what is done by the website to emphasise the plays...

^^What he meant is that the tackles don't seem as realistic and fundamental as they could be. And that is true. One negative I would say is that it seems like when a guy makes a tackle, not only do the other defenders NOT help out, they helplessly fall over like they are playing in a rain storm and cannot get their footing. It's very weird to see in such a tough, aggressive sport like football.

But, the game does looks very impressive visually.

I hate Gametrailers. It is a poorly designed site; it's so hard to find anything on the site. For instance, I can't find the interview you guys are talking about. I see the Madden pictire and the little WMV and Quicktime symbols, but when I click on them, nothing happens at all.

same thing happens to me but that is cuz you must have pop up blockers... just click on it like 3-4 times in a row and it comes up... it does for me...
