THANK YOU ALL, I am getting a 360 - Is Madden 2006 (real cheap $) worth it?

Don't waste your money on Madden 06, even if you find it cheap. Go with either NCAA or just hold out until Aug. 22nd. My opinion.

Question: If you had to $20 to spend on either Madden 360 or the Madden 07 PPV on ESPN, which would you get?

Is pocketing the $20 an option? Because that's the best choice between those two.

Yeah, I rented NCAA07 thinking it wouldn't be a purchase for me but I have to say that it's been a ton of fun the past 2 days. Definitely a much more complete game than Madden 06 on the 360. By the way, I had to get persmission from my wife too....

I have been playing NCAA07 and love it but I decided to rent Madden 06 just for kicks. (I just got my 360 so I never tried it before). While it has it's problems I actually find Madden 06 a much more fluid gameplay experience. The framerate is just flat out faster than NCAA which seems to be locked at a lower rate. Coming from NFL2k5, NCAA07 feels downright choppy to me. In comparison Madden 06 is much closer to NFL2k5 in framerate and fluidness of animations. It is missing features galore but the feel is better and seems more responsive to me.

Now I hope they keep all the new features and AI from NCAA and put that stuff in Madden, but I hope we do not get the slower framerate that I see in NCAA.
