I feel ur pain. Ive had occasions where Ive had clear paths and my guy has been tackled because a guy brushed him the wrong way. Its just bad collision detection. It will happen as long as EA works with this engine. Still and all Ive had fun with NCAA and I know I will when I pick Madden up used.

I'm not sure that's the case. Anyone who watched any of the various NCAA gameplay movies at IGN, Gametrailers, etc., had an inkling that NCAA was going to have some spotty collision detection.

I haven't seen anything in the Madden 07 gameplay vids comparable to the issues NCAA has. I'm not saying there won't be any, but if there are they haven't been as blatant as NCAA's. Imo that should be taken as a good sign.

Well, these things don't happen on the Xbox version, thankfully.

Well I'm getting both versions, but I don't hold out much hope for the 360 version. Unless they make some earthshattering changes in the engine, and we all know they won't, I know the 360 version is going to play and feel like NCAA and that's not a good thing in my book.

As long as the Xbox version is solid and has announcers, I'll be perfectly happy playing my dynasty on it.

The general consensus from the folks who played it at the community leaders event last week is that Madden plays like a much tighter version of NCAA. For most of us that's good news.

While I agree Madden looks even tighter than NCAA it still has the same limitations of the engine EA uses. So Im pretty sure we'll see tackles that make us go

. I can live with this as I have been for years playing EA games.

And if you couldn't, you'd have to pretty much get out of video game football at this point.
