this year? i know for the past few years eb/gamestop has been opening at midnight on the night of release so preorders can get it early. has anyone heard anything about them doing this again this year?

The EB in my town (Englewood,OH) has already planned one for the 21st. They are having a tailgate and tourney to count down until midnight.

Half the EBs and Gamestops in Atlanta had midnight openings for NCAA and Madden is always a much bigger draw, so I would say yes.

yup.the local game crazy is having a midnight opening. theres also a madden tournament later that weekend there for those who preordered the game.
