In fairness to Irvin it's been what, 10 years since he had that incident. And last I checked the original mr. sniff, sniff Lawrence Taylor is in the Hall so why shouldn't Irvin be as well?

No Young or Montana? That's not cool. Don't think I saw Jim Brown either.

It would look kind of silly if Payton was out there in the 70's or 80's uni while the rest had the 2006 uni.

So true, but Taylor is considered by many to be one of the 5 best defenders to ever play the game, while Irvin wouldn't even be top 10 at his position.
