and i was thinking how these guys were gonna look. i mean im pretty sure walter payton wont be rocking the old school facemask thick as a beef jerky stick. i wanna see those arm sleeves flap as he runs for a 50 yard td. that old school look that ea did for ncaa. ya know what i mean...the leather helmets...yeah. i think if a player is from the 80's it needs to look/uniform dressed like the 80's. i should be able to tell the difference from what era team he is playing with by looking at the player models/jerseys. seeing this on the 360 would be pretty damn cool.

I wish it looked like it did back then, but it wont.

it also ticks me off, the jump animation over the goaline. Yes alot of people do it..But in madden it makes RB's look like there all Walter Payton

michael irvin got robbed of the hall of the fame so you can't use him. emmitt smith isn't eligible in the hall yet

Hopefully the cap works right so it isn't too easy to sign these guys. I always thought it was kinda fun to sign HoFs in your franchise. I rememebr signing Steve Largent to the Eagles (pre-TO days) and he led the league in drops. I cut him after one season. I also had Red Grange as my short yardage back for the Raiders. Fun stuff. I always limited myself to no more than one HoF on a team I was controlling, usually Raiders and Eagles.
