What is with the next-gen playcalling screen?

I don't know about you all, but in between my franchise, I love playing multiplayer. Why on earth did EA abandon the traditional (meaning its been in Madden since Sega Genesis if I remember correctly) 3 button playcalling screen for the next gen? People can see every play you pick! Is there any good reason for this?

Yeah, I hate this new system style of it... I guess I'm going to really need to use Audibles TON more.

You can use the bluff method.

Yeah, take 2 minutes and read the manual. (It probably only takes about 2 minutes to through the whole thing)

The bluff method is, without a doubt, essential.

Thumbs up Re: What is with the next-gen playcalling screen?

I was hesitant about the new bluff mode but after learning how to do it I find it is the best way to bluff.

I don't mind the playcalling screen when playing by myself, but when I'm playing a person I would rather have the old playcalling screen. They should have given you the option to use either.
