How do you stop running QB's? What def. should one use to consistently stop this? This is for playing hum vs hum. Thanks in advance

QB Spy.

Control the LB who is spying the QB and just follow the QB wherever he goes.

Thats one of the ways, but there is more to it than that.

Sometimes the QB is faster than the LB. How do you handle that?

I know in NCAA there is (or there was) a play where you could double spy the QB with your safeties, I have no idea if it's in Madden though, but that could be another way.

Double spying will cause your passing D to open up.

That's why running QBs are such a nuisance (both in real life and in video games)...they're gonna cause a lot of trouble for you on D.

A lot of the time you can't worry about stopping the Mike Vick or Vince Young at the line of scrimmage. You just have to worry about getting the right angle on him to contain him to prevent him from popping a 40-50 yarder on you.
