When I got to the off-season there were a couple of big names, but not many. Of the big names, I can remember T.O., Jeff Saturday, and Matt Schobel (sp).

At the rate T.O. is going, he may not make it to the off-season.

A little off topic, but in my Superstar mode, I'm a RB for the Colts, and Marvin Harrison is running with the 2nd string during the preseason. He's like 4th on the depth chart.

I own the PS2 version and had nearly the same results as the original poster(a lot of the same players available-McCallister, Clements, Palmer, Gonzalez, Lynch, Strahan, etc.) The amount of quality FA was unbelievable(I am only at the first FA signing period). At first I was happy cause I needed the help on D(Chargers Franchise, Pass D sucked), but it is definately a little much and could make it way to easy to get a great team fast, besides the fact that those original teams probably had no reason to cut a lot of these players.
