i cant even get threw a single offseason!

ive tried a franchise mode on the 360 about 4 times now... and let me start by first off saying.. it takes fooorreeevvverrrrr. Not only does it take forever, after taking al that time... it doesnt work! My game doesnt freeze..it just stops! the music is playing, the background is moving... but nothing is happening. i press buttons, and nothing happens. each time i get farther and farther into my first offseason, and waste more and more time, to have it end up stoping and restarting my system. i ended up saving my franchise everytime i draft a player. I dont know if this is happing to anyone else, would think so, but let me know? what is going on? its far beyond frustrating.
