For those that weren't aware of this, I thought I'd give ya a heads up. I just found this out. Let it search for drivers via windows update. Works like a gem.

does it? I bought one when they came out with the 360 wired controller packaged with the driver disc for pc. It sucked ***. Madden 06 didn't recognize the right thumbstick or the two trigger buttons. Making it useless.

Havent used it since, was hoping I'd let a sweaty handed friend use that one when we play mutliplayer 360 games when I get one.

But if they have a different or new driver that works like it's supposed to, then fine. The old driver didn't even have a decent interface to manage the controller and the rumble was turned off by default.

Yep--it works like a charm. Though you probably want to DL the driver for it. On a side note: This is the first time I've ever played Madden on a PC--and it's DEEP. IMO, it's a much better game than the 360.

It's USB dude, and to answer the previous questions... Everything works fine. Just like it would on the 360.

I thought the charge and play or whatever doesn't work for the wireless controller. The only way you'd be able to play is the wired controller.

It's USB dude, and to answer the previous questions... Everything works fine. Just like it would on the 360.

can you list what you did, because mine will not work..i am trying to play with the xbox 360 controller that came with the xbox 360 core

Wireless adapter is coming from MS soon. The recharge cable won't let you use it on the PC, it is simply that, a recharge cable, not a data cable.

I have Windows 2000, I thought you needed XP according to the MS website.

I have the wired 360 controller.

Is there away around that? ie, you don't need XP?

Are there drivers online somewhere or does it prompt you automatically? I'm thinking about picking up a wired one for this game.
