360 demo is out

I would agree with you here. I just think everyone is getting frustrated with EA and their policies.

I should have waited and bought the PC version I guess, but now that I have the 360 version and can't get a full refund I'll wait to see what EA does as I'm not about to give them $$$$ for the PC version as well.

Like Jistic, I'm waiting on this supposed "patch" so I can start my franchise and get some of this $60 out of this game.

The demo was probably released to MS weeks ago. I also cannot wait for this patch. Hopefully it comes with the new roster update.

Negativity over the new Madden 2007 Demo – at least there is a Demo!

One of the best features of 360 is the ability to try out a game via the Marketplace Demo. I mean with the increased cost of 'next generation' games, it is a financial relief to avoid dishing out cash for poor games. My only mistake (which I creatively corrected) was MLB 2K6 – that was utter trash. Demo? NO! I believe the only sports related Demo that 2K has submitted was Top Spin 2 and Amped 3 – both duds but at least I was able to demo them. Take Two / 2K Sports have never put out demos for their basketball games (I own both, both are great IMO) nor did they put one out for NHL 2K6

Now maybe there was reasoning behind releasing the Madden Demo after 08/22/2006 however at least we have a demo. In the end I am a fan of the sports game regardless of who makes it however we have a demo, and now the fence sitters can at least play the demo, gauge it, and decide whether or not it deserves their gaming dollar.

I am glad EA puts out demos for just about all of their sports games. Tiger demo was good but not worth a full purchase IMO. NBA Live was just an awkward experience altogether - but again at least we had the demo before forking over cash.

Only if the roster update comes out soon! Like today... I know that they are the only game in town but lets get on this fatigue problem.
