Whenever I break out a run with the QB and press the slide/dive button, it always dives. As a result, I sometimes fumble. How am I supposed to slide?

this is the XBOX version, btw

You have to tap it very lightly......

I have the 360 version and have no idea either. Anyone? I can't do it in NCAA either.

already tried that, doesn't make a difference

If you slow down then hit the X button the QB will slide.

Its virtually impossible to do in a game situation (with XBOX that is). Because you've been probably pressing the "A" button hard (a natural human reaction) while running with the QB, to suddenly barely flick the "x" button is an ask to say the least.

Only way I've managed it, is to flick your thumb towards the center of the controller, hopefully just catching the "X" button. Even this doesn't always work.It really needs a button assigned to it, that slides no matter how hard you hit it.

Just CLICK X to slide....just a tap. tappy tap. tap it in.
HOLD X to DIVE

It's in the manual I believe.

I haven't had a problem sliding for Madden or NCAA (360), I think it just comes with feel. Take it into practice, with no D on the field, and try it.
