I've been noticing while playing a franchise on current gen Xbox... playing as the Raiders in a 'chise and had a wide reciever go down, he's out 4 weeks... but I go to play the next game and he's there returning kickoffs. Then a few games later Andrew Walter goes down and is out 9 weeks, but the very next game I'm using him and he's showing no signs of being injuried or playing injuried. In both cases the players were out for the rest of the game they got injuried in, but were ready to go the very next game, however it still showed them injuried when I'd go to roster and injuries.

I haven't really noticed this being talked about (Although I haven't really been paying attention till now.) So just wondering if anyone knows what the issue is, or how to fix it. Thanks!

Look at his attributes, it should be lower compared to his non-injured attributes.

Nope they don't lower at all. I know you can have some injuries where the guy can still play, but I'm seeing things like a broken elbow (for a quarterback) and injuries like that. In previous versions when someone had an injury like that, they couldn't be used at all. In this case the attributes are the exact same as they were before the injury, when I go to start the next game it's as if it didn't happen.

Injuries During Franchise Mode (XBOX)

There's already a thread on this - does anyone know if this is just an X-Box thing or does this happen on the PS2 version as well?

On the 360 I've noticed very few injuries. I'm 7 games into my franchise (and played all four preseason games) and I have only seen about three injuries. None have been longer than a few quarters so I haven't even been able to tell if they are available to play the next game.

Someone that had PS2 said they didn't have this problem, so I guess it's just the Xbox version.

i had this problem with my 1st franchise i'm thinking it was because i released a player that was on IR

i decieded to delete everything and redo the settings and roster updates

then i restarted the franchise and this time i didnt release him and i am on week 8 and players are injured and miss the actual game

On the 360, I have a DT out for 6 weeks, and I cannot use him.
