Yes.. they're charging for the themes and gamer pictures. SO IS EVERY OTHER GAME COMPANY. They didn't charge for any of the videos leading up to the release. Everything in this thread is all speculation based on nothing. They may charge. They may not. All I see is a bunch of OMFGBBQ EA IS TEH EVIL & WANTS OUR FIRST BORN CHILDREN, followed by someone else trying to defend them saying it's a smart business move to take our children. I haven't seen anyone post anything resembling a fact regarding price points or even a release date.

Not all added game content is being released at a price. Ridge Racer 6, for example - is letting you download new cars for free.. but charging for background music. Why you'd pay for music when the 360 will let you use your own files is beyond me... but that's what they're doing.

So, I say again. Quit making threads like this, until we actually know something.
Sooooo help us out.... does this mean your PRO.. or CON...?!?!?

What part of the statements of the people that voted "No" do you not understand.

Read through the thread and then make your comments. At least it'll make it look like you are saying something somewhat semi-informed.

I dont *want* to pay for uniforms... but I'm not going to call EA evil and greedy before they actually do anything.

Personally, I think we are all in for a rude awakening. I honestly believe there will be no alts released for free or for charge.

One of the EA developers at least has lied to us. On one of the interviews I read, one of the developers plainly said that the NCAA alts would be up before the season started.

Re: Should EA Have Included Alternate Unis?

Yes they should be. They already raised the game prices so that's no excuse at all. They're included in the NHL game it seems so should be for NBA and NFL too.

What if it was like Lumines is rumored to be? You only get the regular season and at the end of it you have to go pay 500 points to unlock the playoffs then 200 more if you get to the Super Bowl. I think it'll eventually get that bad if people keep supporting this bull.
