Is there a solution for the freezing? (XBOX)

I bought this game the other day and I really wish I could give an opinion on it either way. The problem is, that ever since I took the wrapper off, the game has frozen in my XBOX or I get the DDE message. I never finished one quarter. I took it back and got another one and sure enough, the same thing happened. I know this happens with EA games sometimes, but I had no problems with NCAA or MVP06. I saw some earlier threads about freezing on the 360, but does anyone who plays on XBOX have this problem or better yet, a solution?

who knows. I've got thr 360 version myself and so far it seems about every 3 out of 4 games I try freezes. The last two have been unsuccesful. So far, I'm hating the 360, it's been a total waste of money. I've got 3 games for it, and 2 of them freeze constantly... so much that I can't even get a ****ing game in. I'm sick of it. I'm not buying the hockey games until I know whether it tends to freeze or not.

Emjay, have you tried cleaning the laser?

Timmay, have you tried cleaning the cache?

I've seen those ideas floated around so I was just curious if you had tried those?

Try cleaning ur DVD drive lens with a Q-tip and alcohol (this should correct ur problem, if it doesnt then ur system need a new lens/laser). If that doesnt work then the only way u can fix ur Xbox is to mod it and play ur games off the HDD since new Xboxs haven't been manufactured in 5 months and its very hard to find a used one that isnt a piece of junk.

I just cleaned it before I bought the game, but not since. I'll clean it again, but IMO it makes no sense since I don't have a problem with any other game, EA games included, except this one.
