Is it just me that despises the next-gen grass in the game? It looks too patterned, like a part of the field has been copy-pasted for the entire field.

Field turf especially looks much smoother on current-gen. The pattern thing is a little annoying. I'm not the type to complain about things like this, mainly core gameplay, but after seeing current gen Madden, i'm a little envious of their grass.

Are you kidding? Current gen Madden grass is a shapeless greenish-grey mass that the players appear on. 360 grass has actual definition.

ok, i took a look again. The natural grass is infinitely better on next gen.

Field turf still looks a little weird to me. I guess i'm the only one. No one else sees the repetitive copy-pasting going on? also, it looks a little too bushy to be field turf doesn't it?

current gen has that sleeky, shiny look that wet field turf has.

Argh... no offense to any of you...

but grass to me isn't very important. Sure, it's better than what we had in SNES times, but I wish the graphic designers would work on things that matter, like actual faces on teh players etc.

I think that's the issue. These designers most likely aren't football fans, and are more bent on developing details such as grass in order to impress their fellow developers instead of developing what really matters..
