Hide play selection on 360 with two players?

Is there anyway to trick your opponent so when you are playing two players in person they can't see what play you pick?

I replied to this on a different forum but here it the short answer

Use X to select a play without closing the play selector
Use Y to make the bluf sound
Use A the select a play or fake a play if you type X
