Just curious...what exactly do you expect to be fixed with the patch?

i see alot of you saying that this game is unplayable and are waiting for the patch to make it playable...but what are you expecting to get fixed thats gonna change the playaybility of this game?

just the fatigue indicators? and thats the game killer for you all? realisitic fatigue is that important?...why?

or am i missing something...are they gonna fix more than just the graphical interface with this patch?

the only real fix is the fatigate issue.
the other things are online issues...

I've been wondering this ever since I first read that. What exactly does "Updates for the usage of in game downloadable content" mean? They haven't even released any downloadable content other than the 6 themes and the 6 picture packs that came out before the game was released. Maybe this is the reason they haven't released any jerseys, stadiums, and whatever else they were supposed to, because they won't work. So if that is the case, maybe after the patch they will start releasing the jerseys, stadiums, etc. One could only hope. What do you guys make of it?

That's what I'm thinking also. That HAS to be it. Frankly, I'm surprised Mike even mentioned it. They could've easily quietly fixed the problem, released jerseys and stuff, and just pretend like it all happened as planned.

Maybe we should start bitching about the terrible player progression on defense and see if that gets patched in 3 months...

That's probably what it is. Would explain why NCAA has yet to receive anything either (to my knowledge). Not sure that people are as anxious to download content now as they might have been shortly after the game released.

As far as the fixes in the patch, I'm holding off trading in my copy of Madden on the thought that they'll have some undocumented changes and make the effort to improve the gameplay enough to make playing games at least tolerable. I haven't so much even looked at the game for three weeks
