If it's in the game ... well, it's not really in the game.
Ummm, if it's in the game ... you can find a way to get it in the game, and we'll get richer.

THIS is the scariest part of the whole interview.

Oh man, they've only just started? What else are they planning on charging for?

Re: IGN Interview about Madden on Marketplace

We are not at all to hold EA blameless in this, but the guy who threw Microsoft's name out there has an excellent point - MS designed the whole pay to play and download content thing years ago w/ xbox. I remember when PGR2 was selling extra circuits for $$...I never did pay for those and as a matter of fact, I never did pay for Xbox Live either. I'm not saying xbox live wasn't a good service, but i just decided paying to play online wasn't for me...escpecially when the competior was offering onlie play for free. How much is gold membership anyhow - an exra $70-100 bucks a year tacked onto the price of the console?

I'm afraid there will be too many Madden players buying the extra's. Then this will really open the flood gates for all kinds of add-ons the game companys will be charging everyone.

Xbox Live Gold $50 for 13 months (12+1month free). Xbox Live Silver comes with every Xbox 360 Premium and allows you free downloads, System and Game Updates, access to Xbox Marketplace and several times a year free online play.

Honestly next time around i'll take the Silver Membership cause I don't use multiplayer much ( I hate cheddar).

yes! It's ez to bash EA but MS knows this is a cash cow...do you think they don't get a cut of everything that goes through. I remember buying courses for Links and so did many others. But when EA starts selling courses people will go nuts. Video gaming is the same as any business...there in it to make money.

Re: IGN Interview about Madden on Marketplace

I willing to pay for...better player interaction. Now that would be great. I thought they would make us pay for online leagues but for uniforms and staduims. This will get much worst before it get better. It doesn't matter I sold my Madden 07 a few weeks ago.
