New patch is garbage 360

I have yet to see the CPU sub anyone. I set subin/subout at 92/100 for RB and 95/100 and yet to see a sub. I tried switching teams and putting the backup runningback in some of the formations but once I switched back the CPU ignored it.

Another thing that bugs me is in the real NFL, you will see players such as Tikki Barber, Reggie Bush line up as wide receivers, you see receivers switch sides etc. Madden CPU does not mix and match its running backs, receivers etc. Same damn receivers in the same spot. Its boring and lame. With the PC version, you can kind of rig the CPU into using Bush at WR with certain formations by taking control of all CPU coaches and doing formation specific subs (for example, subbing Deuce as running back in i formation and Bush as WR 1). However, they dropped this feature in the 360 version.

I just don't get how NCAA got most of this right and Madden the leading franchise came up with a big zero. No NFL team uses the same RB the entire game and the same receivers in the same slots.

Don't have the patch, but what you said isn't completely true. I see some RB's coming in on third down once in a while at least. Not as much as I'd like obviously, but still.

And you do see some motion...having CPU WR's switching sides of the field. It is messed up how NCAA got things like this better than Madden.
