Gang tackling is one of the features people have been asking for in madden for years.

If this video is any implication of whats to come in regards of gang tackling, this is beyond pathetic. The mere fact that one needs to zoom in and rewind the video 10x just trying to make out a gang tackle is a testement to how much effort they put into this feature.

Gang tackling will once again be nothing more than canned animations like on the current gen. Mark my words.

If the PS3's power was needed to do that "gang tackle" its gonna be a loooong 4 more years

Even if the A.I does it who cares. The big question is, can "I" do it?

It wasn't. It was partly extra development time and partly a need to have something to get consumers to buy what's likely their second version of the game this year.

Thats what I thought, but I actually heard developers in a interview say "the PS3 gave us the ability to add the gang tackling" this isnt exactly the words use but they specifically stated the PS3 allowed them to implement this feature. Maybe he meant something else but I expected to see something more profound compared to what was seen. Gang Tackling if done right would require a change in how EA handles takling and player interaction animations in general if not its gonna be the same current GEN two players meeting the ball carrier at the same time.
