can someone please explain to me how to Bluff Plays?

I see the instructions screen, but I never fully understand what they are saying. I hate this madden because people blatantly see your play, and I am used to ALWAYS bluffing my plays

I assume you're talking about the 360 version:

Y= fake play call
X = real play call
A = exit play call screen

The play called will be the last one that you chose "X" for. If you hit A without ever having hit X, it just selects the play that you're on.

Note: this only applies to two player games, when playing the cpu bluffing is disabled.
