Anyone see the commercial (gang tackle) PS3?

yep. that's what it looked like 2 me. graphics didn't look as shiny as they do on the 360 either

i was really confused when i seen it, because you think they would be hyping the fact that it was there? or do we know that now. i've been out of the loop on the gang tackling issue for awhile

I believe it will just be a 2 man canned animation. One of the ones that you see 23235435 times in 1 game. However if that is not the case, then good for them.

I think when people refer to gangtackling, they are refering to the 2k series.

The diff is tht in the 2k series you can break tackles, get wrapped up and drag defenders, mid air collision and everything. Personally I dont forsee this happening, but if Im wrong then thats a step forward for the Madden series. I quarentee though that this is nothing more than a 2 man canned, scripted animation.

Couple more days and we will know though.

Yea i saw it, it looked pretty cool. But it still had that canned animation to it, as if it was pre-determined. I just wish its like one of you mentioned, 2Kish

People might hate that sound, but the way 2k did the gang tackling it was perfect. Hopefully Madden can copy that right down to the dime and improve on it

so why PS3 and not for the 360?

The fact that it has gang tackling should improve the gameplay. I finally have a second game to pick up at the PS3 launch.
