Just had two freeze-ups

try clearing your HDD's cache. you do that by pressing X, X, LB, RB, X, X, when you're in the system settings blade (the purple one). just go to memory and select your HDD, enter the button sequence from above and it will ask you if you want to do maintenance on your HDD. select yes and go from there. it's worth a try. i figured out i had a bad disc and also needed to clear my cache, and i've been able to play without any problems. i've even dl the classic stadiums and played in one of them with alternate uni's for both teams.
