Has Anyone Ever Blocked A Kick Or Punt

i have been playin madden and i never blocked a punt or kick

I have blocked several FG's and extra point, but never a punt. I play on the 360, it's all about jumping the snap at the right time. I take my defender on the far right (on the screen) move him in a little, hold down sprint and run in unblocked.

In my very first defensive stance as the Bears, I blocked a field goal against the Packers (CPU). I also blocked a field goal attempt using Notre Dame in my very first game of NCAA 360. Very few instances of these have happened ever since.

i have blocked plenty of FGs and only seen 1 punt blocked my cousin did it 2 me when i was like on the 1 or 2 yard line

i blocked a punt on ps2. my opponent was punting on his 1 yard line and used normal punt formation, not max protect punt formation.i controlled the returner, and the computer blocked the punt for me. im pretty sure you can block a field goal if your opponent tries one at his 1 yard line

Before Madden 07 on 360 never.

But this year i have blocked two kicks and returned one for TD, one extra point and one punt.

I have been playing Madden since 1995. I had never blocked a punt. I mean NEVER. Then one night I'm playing 06 with my friend. He's up by a TD with like 1:30 left in the game. He goes to punt from his 35, and sure enough I block it. I end up losing in OT, but I didn't care, I had finally blocked my first punt.

As far as FG's go, it depends on the game. I was a master at it on 04, I would block a good 60% of FGs & PATs, but since then, I haven't been as good at it. I get some every now and then, but I block many more on NCAA then on Madden.
