NFL Draft in Madden sounds sweet!!!

I dont know if this is old news to you guys but it is to me. I just found out that you have to send out scouts to scout incoming players. That sounds awesome. I know NFL2k3 has the mock draft but I would much rather have this. thoughts?

Yeah that sounds pretty cool, but I'd rather have a war room style draft...

Its going to make the draft that much more fun and tough. I also like the fact that the overall rating for the players will not be available during the draft. This should make draft day a blast.

Like usual the two games (Madden & 2K) have different styles but there should be one to meet your needs. I'm just happy to see more realism in the front office aspects of football games which can be just as fun as the actual football at times.

yeah you can see some of their ratings once you scout them, but if you dont you will just have to guess.

That's cool. I hadn't heard that yet, although I've been so geeked up about NCAA '03 I hadn't really been reading anything on Madden lately. I think that'll add a lot to the Madden draft. I realize it's just the nature of the college and pro games but I've thought the Madden offseason was a little anticlimactic, especially when compared to NCAA.

I hadn't heard that either. Sounds really cool though, and adds more drama and excitement to the draft. Greater chance of having busts/diamonds in the rough type players I would guess, since not all of the ratings will be available. I'll probably buy Madden again this year, so I'm looking forward to seeing how exactly this works.
