Is madden (PS3) condsiderably better than madden (360)?

I have played both and I like the PS3 version better. It runs smoother looks a little better and the controls work alot better. They are way more responsive. My ps3 hasnt froze yet either.

Pretty much how I feel about the PS3 version. Spent 4 months playing the 360 version and knew it was not better than the PS3 after playing both.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I feel that the PS3 version is MUCH better than the 360 version. It looks noticeably better (on 1080i with HDMI), and the gameplay feels more polished, plus the gang tackling. I couldn't stand Madden for the 360, sold it on Ebay about a month after it released. As for Madden on the PS3, I can't put it down.

Hey Sully how did you get Madden on 1080i? I thought it was only up to 720p. Help me out. My TV offers 1080i but I don't have HDMI It also only has 480i/480p/1080i. Any advice?

Here is where i come in I hated madden 07 on the 360 and sold it a month after i got it at Recently rented madden czu i wanted a football fix and immediately rebought the game. i don't know the 360 version is good for me...

Under the display options for the PS3. It may have downscaled it to 720p, but I could've swore I saw a option for 1080i. I may be wrong, though.

My TV supports 480p, 720p, and 1080i. So, I'm either playing it in 720p, or 1080i.

I have played both and I prefer the ps3 version because of gang tackling. You no longer see offensive players struggling forward for 2 or 3 yards in a crowd because a second defender will jump in and knock the offensive player back. It's no where near as good as the ESPN 2k series but it's a big improvement over the 360 version.

On the flip side, the 360 version looks MUCH better than the ps3 version. The textures and effects are very plain on ps3.
