EA really listens to the fans when it comes to leaving $h*t out of a game, but fall on deaf ears when it comes to adding $h*t.

you accpet that its not a true sim...Ea has almost caught up to 2k5, as far as player models are concerned, which is 2 years old by the way...Am sure those cleats are what will be in the game so stop making excuses for EA...

It’s very hard for me to believe that people voted not to have the ref's in the game; they have never really affected a play in negative way so I think that excuse is bogus. So the alternative it what when a penalty is called the ref magically teleports for the heavens? Come on and then no chain gang, I mean I know these things are minor and they have bigger things to fix but you have to do the little things right first to build that good foundation then concentrate on the bigger issues. These little things go a long way to making the game much more realistic IMO.

I remember having the chain gang on the PS1 and most likely even the genesis. It added an element of anxiety, anticipation. Heck, I even remember seeing an animation of the measurement on Super Tecmobowl. If its in the game..........

Yea EA needs to just get away from the tournament/arcade style game presentation. Takes away from the realism IMO. Madden is "supposed" to be the pinnacle of football gaming.

Unfortunately, more and more I hear, "We read the message boards" and "we polled our fans", the more I feel EA is running a very smooth marketing gimmick.

Just the other day, in Ortiz's interview, he snuck in the message board comment about doing what people are asking. You could tell he was schmoozing.
