It may have been in there but it was in a very primitive form

how so is it primitive if it is the only game that had it on last gen and nex gen not counting madden ps3? people getting happy about 1 hand catches and gang tackling. if anything people should be getting mad at tiburion for having a bigger budget and more workers and just now getting their game up to par with a game that had these features 3 yrs ago.

btw there were mutiple gangtackles in 2k5, not just 1 or 2, so i would not consider it primitive

This is the third year of a game that was built from the ground up and started from scratch. No one should have really thought that Madden 06 was going to be a complete game with gang tackling, braching animations, etc....

you are right russell but it should not be used as an excuse seeing as how all these features were possible last gen and shown to the world by a dev that has less staff then madden and less funds than madden, but yet were able to introduce those things and not just 1 or 2 of them but mutiple. also for the record for those who don't know, madden 08 does not have a brand new engine
