Colors looked great. And like I said before I am really digging the direction they are going with the player models in this years game. The Radio announcer is just dumb, I'm going to do what someone else in this thread mentioned, and turn him off and just pretend I'm AT the game.

One thing I wish they would correct are the camera angles for the replays. I liked the little thing they did at the end of the video with the scoreboard effect, BUT...

I wish they would use realistic cameras in the game. Perch them in the actuual loacations they would be at a stadium and run the replays from those angles. If I'm watching a replay I don't want to see the same play from down on the field (if I wanted to that I'd go into the pause menu). I would rather see it from one of the many camera angles you would see viewing it on the jumbtron at the stadium or on TV. This will allow you to pull back on the action and see what the other players were doing on the play as well.

That camera angle on that INT would never exist! It looks like a guy is on the field, chasing the action with a steadycam.

Wouldn't be cool if they showed ALL replays from camera locations the mmimic the real locations at an NFL stadium? especially like that "floating" camera that's attached to the wires that all of th networks use nowadays.

Part of it is the lateral movement, I think. When you see the defense try to strafe, or the receiver on the punt return, they look weird moving side to side and they hunch over. They got rid of a lot of the leaning into turns which irritated me last year - the ball carrier looks a lot better when he's running. Post play movement is still kinda off, but looks better. The game really could use some peripheral action on the field (refs, sidelines, etc.) - it's like someone else said about NCAA, it looks like a practice in front of 60,000 fans.

maybe if madden does bad in sales this year we will see some firings from EA aka DAVID ORTIZ.

Not only this Finn, but that STUPID Superman animation..WTF I really hope they fix this stuff before release. Other than those 2 things, the video look alright

Not bad, but I'll turn off the icons first chance I get. They just scream "arcadey!" to me. This game will get heavy rotation, though......

Are you sure you can turn off the icons?

I don't know if my expectations are just at an all time low, but I don't think the game looked that bad. I'm just growing tired of expecting a game that will never come. *sigh*

Ya know, I wouldn't even mind that so much if the rest of the game had presentation as if I'm watching a football game on Sunday. Hell, the old school videos from Madden '99 on the PS1 would be better than nothing.

The sad thing is, it doesn't look any different than any other year of Madden. By now it should look and play so much better in next gen.
