Madden 2008 only running at 30FPS on PS3

All I know is I have all 3 systems and there seem to be a few constants:

Play 360 until I get bored with the games I have.

Check the web for some glimmer of hope that the PS3 will get more play than the periodic The Show gameplay.

Fire up the Wii for some relaxing no frills no stress gameplay.

After that I'm good to do the cycle again.

Wait, what? You are saying that 30 fps is about the same as 60 fps? If so, why complain if the PS3 version is at 30 versus the 60 on 360?

Either it makes a gameplay difference, or it doesn't. If you say it doesn't really matter, then how can you grumble about Madden getting 30 fps on the PS3?

I'll tell you right now, that my racing game friends HATE 30 fps, as they feel it gives them LESS control of the car. Why would the same not be true for most games? Oh, and 2K Sports should be bashed alongside EA for only getting 30 fps on the PS3 -if, you know, it affects the gameplay.

I don't think this is a Sony problem. It's more of a developer problem. But it seems like Sony would maybe work with the developers to help them optimize the games. I'm disappointed, but as long as the games are good, I can live with it for this season.

Why doesn't everyone wait until the game comes out and see what happens ???

Same thing happened with "no names" showing up online for NCAA 08, everyone starting going nuts, then like 2 days later EA came out and corrected that it was in the game.

Im not saying things will change, but just take a deep breath and wait until the damn game comes out first.


What if the 360 version ships with a "problem" and that same problem is not in the ps3 version ??? Then what happens ???

We all go out and buy Wii's and sell our 360's and PS3's ???
