Co-Op play is IN for Madden 08.

"If you're playing with a buddy in co-op mode (which will be reintroduced to the series for Madden 08), you can call for the ball and it will rumble the controller of your partner to signify you're open."

The bigger question is it only 2player or up to 4?

It's worded as if it's only 2, but hopefully it's 4.
