Actually Greg Ellis is a LB...I just find it hard to see that Brad Johnson is an 80.

Re: Madden 08 Countdown: Player Ratings

imo, dallas has one of the best lb corps in the league and we only have one guy at 90 and another guy at 83...everyone else 79 and below...ugh.

Re: Madden 08 Countdown: Player Ratings

Again...be thankful that you can edit the ratings this year. Last year you were stuck with overrated/underrated players and were SOL.

Re: Madden 08 Countdown: Player Ratings

Cowboy fans, check out Isaiah Stanbach. He was drafted to be a WR, but he is a MUCH better project QB.

Speed - 85
Acc - 86
Throw Power - 93
Throw Acc - 77

With a few years of minicamp, preseason, and regular season mop-up duty, he could be quite good. None of the other college QBs converted to WR have arms like that.

Also, why is Ted Ginn's release rating higher than Chris Chambers? EDIT!!

Re: Madden 08 Countdown: Player Ratings

Good to see Zach and Jason still solid. Also, Ted Ginn Jr. has some accelleration and speed. Az-Zahir Hakim also with some speed. I think Chambers should have a higher rating than 88 for catch. He has made some spectacular catches.

Looking forward to playing with the Dolphins.

Re: Madden 08 Countdown: Player Ratings

Sean Taylor a 90 and Laron Landry a 85 with London Fletcher a 95, Redskins defense if going to be good up the middle.

Re: Madden 08 Countdown: Player Ratings

I think people are not expecting for the ratings to be different this year, but it should be, due to new attributes, which can make a huge difference in ratings. They are not penalizing them for their performances, but rather on their skills.

Now they have more ratings to adjust to their skills, thus producing realistic ratings.

Sean Taylor dropped because of lower rating in zone coverage/man to man coverage, but very high in hit power and tackle. If it was still on PS2, he would have been the same rating, due to lack of new attributes.

Etc. for other players as well.
