I've been enjoying AP2k8 for the past few weeks, but I have been intrigued by the reviews of Madden. The thing that is holding me back is the turnover issue. Reading these forums only further confuses me, as some people claim it's not a problem, others say it is, but sliders help keep it tolerable, and others say it's a nightmare. Which is it? Can someone who has played at least 10 full games, please comment on whether or not the turnovers (in particular the fumbles) are a game killer or not? Thanks.

Wait for a few weeks. I am waiting because I have a concern about the turn over issues. I have NCAA 08 and sliders are not fixing the problem.

They say they're making a patch for it, but whether that comes in a few days or a few months nobody knows. Go to a friends house and play or give it a rental and see for yourself. I think it has a few too many turnovers but not the craziness that is NCAA.

patches take weeks if not months.

unless MS and EA smarten up and release it unbelievably early.

i mean unless the game doesnt seel the projected amount, why SHOULD they make a patch? sure its good for those select few that have a problem, but unless theres a revolt against the game and it affects sales, i dont see it coming out until atleast thanksgiving time

I am going to wait for the "patch". I like NCAA but the ints are just really bad. I can't see myself spending 120 bones for the same problem. Sad, because this game seem to be solid.

from one end of the spectrum to the other.
i've been playing 2k8 from day one and there are hardly any fumbles at all in that game...even with sliders at 85-90%. just not right.
now Madden seems to be on the opposite end with fumbles.

hey broth do you go to kent state? Im an alumni. great school.

i think if the only reason you dont want this game is because the turnovers may be hi then you are missing out on one of the best pure football games ever made. its a whole new ballgame this year. whch begs the question. Did EA actuallt hire QA people this year?
