I know the icons in the upper right hand corner of the depth chart are the weapons. But all the guys seem to have them, some are filled up a little bit, some are filled up a lot. Also there was 2 different colors, silver and gold. Can someone explain this to me?

If the icon is Gold that means that the player actually has that weapon.

If the icon is Silver that means that player has the potential to gain that weapon; the bar represents how much further the player has to go before he aquires that particular weapon.

what about if the bar is in gold but its not filled up? I have seen that as well

Man, I wish there was somewhere where it explained all this better. The manual that comes with the game is crap as always. I wonder if the madden 08 strategy guide explains everything a lot better. I went up to go buy it but the gamestop near me was all of of them.

no need that guy just explained it perfectly. the more gold it is the better he is at that weapon.

No, I mean everything in the game. Cause there is things in there that the manual doesnt explain at all. He did answer it perfectly. In the manual it mentioned nothing about the potential weapons.
